twas a single speed until I realised it was so heavy I should put its gears back on (minus the silly double chainring).
has the faux-two-piece, single steel chainring and lovely pedals and alloy (?) cranks all from the Aerospace Victor (which is definitely NOT too heavy to be a worthwhile single-speed, but is not any more for different reasons).
everything else is just as Mr Fisher intended back in 1991 (Deore loveliness).
except for the Aussie leather saddle.
would've made a good cyclocross bike if it wasn't so bloody robust.
