although I'm not sold on CP calipers compared to side pulls—
cable hangers can be fussy and get in the way of other things—
I do love this sweeping double helix.
it works very well and looks good too.
this angle shows better how they go.
with sidepull brakes both cables sweep down in front of the bars and under.
but the hanger necessitates the front cable going over and behind the bars.
(any American visitors will notice that you have the brake levers set in the reverse of this:
we have the left hand operating the back and the right hand the front).
